How do I approach a company for a previous job offer?

I think a few factors come into play:

  • How recent was their offer?
  • What were the reasons that you turned the job offer down?
  • How did you tell them that you were not accepting their offer?
  • What job did you take, assuming you did, instead of theirs?

I believe it could be a matter of determining if you have any leveraging power. If you have the skills & experience they are needing, you might be in demand.

You might want to consider contacting the individual who interviewed you and offered you the job to determine whether the job is still available. If so, then reapply.

The person who interviewed you may not work there anymore which could make you unknown.

I wouldn’t reapply as a first step, unless you see the same job being posted.
